Men behind Daalder take over Lokaal Edel
One of Amsterdam West's most amazing terraces is coming into the hands of Frans van Dam and Dennis Huwaë, the men behind Daalder. This summer, Lokaal Edel in national monument Het Sieraad will reopen as a casual fine dining restaurant.
In addition to Frans van Dam and Dennis Huwaë, Erik van Wilsum and Frank Hekelaar of Tobacco Theater will run the operation of the restaurant and its event venue, Het Sieraad. So that bodes well.
Great talent
Chef Dennis Huwaë is considered a major talent within the restaurant industry. Connoisseurs have been tipping Dennis as a future recipient of a Michelin star for years. After years of standing at the stove as Moshik Roth's right-hand man at &Samhoud Places, Huwaë, as co-owner of Restaurant Daalder, was voted Talentful Chef 2018 by GaultMillau last year.
